Last year, Arapiraca invested more than R$2 million in technological innovations for the city’s health. This Tuesday (26), City Hall launched one of the most innovative projects developed with this investment: the Regular System, a bed management tool that modernizes and facilitates interaction between management and the city’s hospital network.

The tool allows the availability of available beds in all hospitals in Arapiraca to be viewed easily and transparently, with additional information on the priority of each patient based on the principle of equity. This gives the user more autonomy in the service offered and can help reduce the waiting list.

Mayor Luciano Barbosa highlighted the importance of technology in saving lives by speeding up the work of hospitals in finding a bed for the patient. “Health is life and time is life. We have a system that needs to work and the lack of technological sophistication leaves us living in an analogue way in a time that is no longer meant to be like that. With this new tool, we are speeding up response times to save lives, that’s what regulation means,” he explained.

For this reason, he congratulated the Information Technology Group (GTINFO) team, which, alongside the Department of Health, worked with dedication and commitment to bring to life such an important project and which will directly impact the integration of the entire health network. health of the municipality, including City Hall and hospital institutions.

The launch took place in the auditorium of the Integrated Reference Center of Arapiraca (CRIA) and was attended by Mayor Luciano Barbosa and the secretary, as well as other Health managers, members of GTINFO, councilors from the City Council and representatives of the city’s hospitals.

Institutions such as the Emergency Hospital of Agreste, Chama, Regional, Nossa Senhora de Fátima, Instituto Teodora Albuquerque (ITA), Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and UPA Noel Macedo were present. The medical coordinator of the Arapiraca Regulation Center was also present.
