Celebrating Women’s Month, Arapiraca City Hall promoted, last Wednesday (27), at Partage Arapiraca Shopping, the 4th edition of the Raiz Woman Award, which pays homage to Arapiraquenses who play a role in transformation in their respective communities.

In this edition, 16 women were awarded the award due to their representation and roles in social transformation in the municipality of Arapiraquense and, as a result, their names were immortalized in the pages of the history of the capital of the Agreste region of the State of Alagoas.

For the Municipal Secretary of Women’s Policies, Fabrícia Galindo, the gesture represents their importance for Arapiraca, due to their persistence, attitude and desire to assert the entire fight for equal rights and values within society.
