Request suggests the institution of the COVID-19 Rehabilitation Program in Jandira

Councilor Anderson Teixeira de Oliveira (Avante), “Anderson Apolo”, put two requests to vote at the 12th Ordinary Session of the Jandira City Council, held on April 23, 2024. Request No. 186/24, accompanied by a draft law on the subject, recommended to the City Hall the establishment of the COVID-19 Rehabilitation Program in the municipality.

According to the applicant, the objective of the program is to assist in the rehabilitation of people affected by the disease, especially those who have left the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and need guidance and special care. “Partnerships may be established with public and private entities, especially linked to the health sector, which are a reference and can contribute to the implementation and development of post-COVID-19 rehabilitation measures”, states the draft.

The document also provides specialized care in several areas, such as respiratory and motor physiotherapy, speech therapy, nursing, internal medicine, pulmonology, rheumatology, psychology, psychiatry and social assistance.

Through request nº 180/24, Anderson Apolo also indicated to the Executive Branch the installation of fans or air conditioning in the CRJ (Youth Reference Center). According to the parliamentarian, this is a demand from both employees and residents, who complain about the extreme heat in the area at certain times of the day.
