Due to the May 1st holiday – Labor Day, celebrated this Wednesday, (announcement no. 001/2024) some municipal services will not be in operation. Essential services to the population normally continue. Other services will resume on Thursday, 2nd.
Check out what opens and what closes:
– City Hall
The Municipal Palace will be closed this Wednesday, 1st. Opening hours will resume on Thursday, 2nd, from 9am.
– Health
Normal services at UPA 24h (in Jardim Caravelle), SAMU, 24 Horas Alberto Esper Kallas (Vila Industrial) on May 1st.
The three 6pm Emergency Rooms (from 6am to midnight), the Basic Health Units (UBS’s) and the Health Department will remain closed on May 1st – following the operation of the Municipal Palace. Activities normally resume on the 2nd (Thursday).
– Urban Cleaning
Conventional collection and selective collection will not operate on Wednesday, 1st. Conventional collection and selective collection operations will resume on Thursday, 2nd.
– Education
There will be no classes in the municipal education network on Wednesday, 1st. Municipal schools and CMEI’s will reopen normally on Thursday, 2nd. The Municipal Department of Education will follow the same operations as the Municipal Palace.
– Security
Services continue as normal on Wednesday, May 1st.
– Social assistance
All services return normally on Thursday, 2nd.
