In partnership with the producer DaviFilms, the MIS (Museu da Imagem e do Som), a unit of the FCMS (Fundação de Cultura de Mato Grosso do Sul), launches this Monday (6), the short film: O Esquema.

The work of fiction portrays the story of two partners who own a stationery store who benefited from a corruption scheme to divert public money intended for the purchase of hospital products to combat Covid-19.

Civil police officer, Davi Pierre says he writes and directs fiction films in his free time from police work. Pierre is currently producing his 6th fiction film and his 2nd feature film entitled “Secret Room”.

The short film featured students from the Adote Theater School. According to FCMS, the students participated in the production of the film: Hélio Barbieri – photography direction, Eliza Montes – art direction and Luan Ferreira – direct audio capture.

The independent short film will be released on May 6th. The MIS is located at the Memorial da Cultura e da Cidadania, Avenida Fernando Corrêa da Costa, 559.
