The 18-year-old made a point of saying that these comments could lead to serious consequences. “I don’t come here to defend myself, because, honestly, I don’t feel the need. But I would like all the people who go through something similar or the same process as me, and who don’t have the opportunity to speak, to feel seen, heard and supported in some way. And that they go through this process lightly and without being discriminated against. It’s a dream, I know, but dreams are also achievable”he wrote in an Instagram ‘story’, which has since disappeared from the ‘networks’.
“I want to show you a little of a reality that is a little different from what is usually shown on a social network. Bullying, hateful comments, encouraging violence, of any kind, is a crime. The Internet is not a land no law“, he warned.
Finally, he left a question for his followers: “With this, I do not come here to give a ‘lecture’, nor create comments about this. I would just like to ask a question: why does the life, body and decisions of a person (who is nothing to you) generate so much revolt and so much hatred?”.
