Madonna show in Copacabana: questions and answers

The artist is the mother of six children, aged between 11 and 27. And, like other shows on the tour around the world, four of them must go on stage at certain times with their mothers.

Mercy James plays piano on “Bad Girl”. David Banda often duets with his mother on “Mother and Father”. The twins Stella and Estere can appear in “Vogue” and “Don’t Tell Me”.

At the end of April, the singer made a post on Instagram saying that she was proud of her children’s commitment to rehearsals — which they juggled with school. She thanked them and said that each one brought a unique talent to the stage.

“They never stopped practicing. They never stopped cheering me on and supporting me. That enthusiasm kept me going. They also went to school and rehearsed every night. I’m so proud of them all.”

“I think what my kids have learned most from this year of rehearsals and performances is that if you want to follow your dreams, you’re going to have to work hard for them. And if everyone chooses something different later in life, they’ll never forget this year of blood, sweat and tears. Neither do I.”

Next, see who Madonna’s six children are.

Madonna’s firstborn was born in Los Angeles, USA, on October 14, 1996. She was born when the artist was 38 and is the result of her mother’s relationship with Cuban Carlos Leon.

On August 11, 2000, Rocco Ritchie was born, the singer’s son with filmmaker Guy Ritchie. Like his sister, he was also born in Los Angeles. Rocco’s custody was the subject of a battle when the couple separated in 2008.

Rocco attended St. Martin’s Central School of Art in London, England.

In 2006, while still married to Ritchie, Madonna officially adopted David Banda, a boy from Malawi who was three years old at the time — he was motherless, who died during childbirth, but he had a father. The singer had, since 2006, temporary custody of the boy for 18 months.

David’s adoption was marked by controversy and accusations of violating laws that prohibited non-residents from adopting children in the country.

Apparently, David, who sings and plays, should follow in his mother’s footsteps in music. But he has also ventured into football, when, at the age of 11, he trained at the academy of Benfica, one of the biggest teams in Portugal.

Like David, Mercy was also born in Malawi. She was adopted by Madonna in 2008, when the girl was four years old and living in an orphanage.

In 2017, Madonna opened a pediatric hospital in Malawi named after her daughter, Mercy James Center.

On Instagram, the young woman posts photos of looks and makeup tutorials.

The girls were adopted by Madonna in 2017, when they were both five years old. Like the other siblings, the twins were also adopted from Malawi.

The two girls lived in an orphanage after their mother died in childbirth.
