During this Saturday’s Backlash, Damian Priest retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso, thanks to the help of Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh.
“Main Event” Uso came very close to winning the world title, but the support of Judgment Day allowed the “Archer of Infamy” to continue his reign, despite a disagreement after the fight.
After the result was known and through social media, Drew McIntyre decided to provoke the fighter who “stole” him of the World Heavyweight Championship on the first night of WrestleMania XL.
The “Scottish Warrior” stated that he was useless in the Backlash fight, including the world champion, the main candidate, the tactics used, the finish of title match and all the “theatre” after it.
The Scottish fighter made it clear that he intends to regain the World Heavyweight Championship, but he may still have to deal with CM Punk.
