David Motta, the son of socialite Maria das Dores, who became even better known after being arrested for having her rich husband killed, who wanted to separate from her, left a message of support for Betty Grafstein, whom he knows because of their friendship ( and rivalry) that he had with José Castelo Branco, with whom he was once very close.

The fashion producer, who even dressed Madonna, was unable to remain indifferent to the ordeal that Betty Grafstein is going through and left a public message to the jeweler, with whom he has been in private several times.

“No, true diamonds are not eternal, so let’s pray for the recovery, peace and light of this dear friend of mine from 20 years ago, with whom I learned, laughed and lived so much”, begins by saying David Motta, also sharing an image next to the 95-year-old jeweler.

“Words fail me, which is rare, to comment on what is happening, so I quote Margaret Thatcher, who we both admire: ‘I just wanted to remember the words of Saint Francis of Assisi, which I think are very appropriate at this moment: ‘Wherever there is discord, may I bring unity. Maria das Dores recently left Tires prison, where she served 16 years in prison, after the court sentenced her to 20 years for having ordered the death of her husband, businessman Paulo Pereira da Cruz, who intended to separate from her. The crime happened in 2007: she hired two men to murder him. The businessman was hit several times in the head with a sledgehammer.
