Eating habits are directly related to preventing and combating this disease. Balanced diets, colorful and natural dishes, as well as organic ingredients rich in nutrients, are essential to make the body strong and ready to defend the body against the most diverse types of cancerous tumors.

According to the World Health Organization, WHO, every year, 8.8 million people die from cancer, however, when they are treated or diagnosed early, the chances of a cure are enormous, reaching up to 95%, depending on the tumor and the region of the body. The disease has reached such proportions because of our daily habits and lifestyle addictions.

The numbers are growing, due to the industrialization process of consumer items and changes in the population’s lifestyle habits. Eating habits have a direct influence on the process of carcinogenesis (when cells transform into cancerous cells), whether as a preventive action or as a trigger for tumors.

What is the relationship between cancer and diet?

There is a direct relationship between increased cancer risks and obesity, excessive consumption of red meat, fats and alcoholic beverages. On the other hand, the consumption of vegetables and fruits within a balanced diet can have a preventive effect. The nutrients present in these foods, such as antioxidants, fiber, vitamin D, calcium and folic acid, have beneficial effects.
