FShould I buy air fresheners that last a short time and leave no smell in the house? The solution may be to make a homemade one. You just have to follow a very simple recipe.
The House Digest website tells how you can make one with a very citrusy smell. If you like it, you just have to add a few ingredients and spread it in different rooms of the house. Add orange and grapefruit peels and some spices to the heat, such as cinnamon stick, cloves and vanilla.
Add water and let it boil. Let it reduce a little and then add it to your air freshener bottles. Another solution is to dry citrus fruits in the oven. Then, place them in sachets and spread them around the house.
