ANDAmong the warning signs that may indicate colorectal cancer, there is one that many people may be ignoring. The aim is to present the feces thinly, as if they were a pencil.

“Feces are much thinner, or the thickness and size of a pencil, is a description that some patients with colorectal cancer have”, reveals doctor Michael Cecchini to the blog aggregator HuffPost.
“This tends to happen when tumors are present at the end of the colon or line the entire colon, which causes the stool to be thinner,” to be continued. When it is persistent, it is a symptom that should cause concern.
“It’s simply not one of the most common symptoms of the disease. The most common signs are blood in the stool and abdominal pain.”
