The weekend includes vaccination and care tents for dengue patients

Those who need to update their vaccination records will be able to receive assistance in 18 different locations this Saturday (27). Teams from the Health Department (SES-DF) work in 15 Basic Health Units (UBSs) and in extramural actions at Shopping Popular de Ceilândia, Regional Administration of Planaltina and Elementary Education Center 3 of Sobradinho.

The service will be aimed at all age groups, following the vaccination calendar and the priority audiences for dengue and flu (influenza) campaigns. It is recommended to bring identification documents and records of previously received vaccinations. There will be no vaccination on Sunday (28).

Dengue care

Anyone with dengue symptoms will also have several treatment options throughout the weekend. The reception tents located in Guará, Gama and Paranoá operate 24 hours a day, 24/7, including on Sundays. The units in Planaltina, Ceilândia, Taguatinga, Vicente Pires, Samambaia and Plano Piloto are open from 7am to 7pm, daily. Furthermore, the population of DF has UBSs available with extended opening hours on the weekends. Emergency Care Units (UPAs) and hospitals maintain 24-hour assistance.
