This week, the mobile unit of the Municipal Health Department (SMS) of Porto Alegre will be present in three neighborhoods this week. Among the services offered to communities are flu and covid vaccinations, as well as a series of fundamental services.

The list covers medical and nursing consultations, prenatal exams, prescription updates, injections, dressings, blood pressure and glucose checks, as well as various tests – pregnancy, HIV, syphilis and hepatitis.

It is necessary to be aware of the reduced schedule, as Wednesday will be a national holiday (May 1st, Labor Day), with no working hours in this and several other municipal, state and federal bodies.

Furthermore, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there is no bus service with the SMS driving team (except on special occasions). If in doubt, you should access the Municipal Health Department page on the website geral.poa.br.

Schedule

– Monday (29): mobile unit present in the Lomba do Pinheiro neighborhood (East Zone), from 9am to 3:30pm.

– Tuesday (30): mobile unit present in the Lageado neighborhood (South Zone), from 9am to 3:30pm.

– Thursday (1st): mobile unit present in the Anchieta neighborhood (North Zone), from 9am to 3:30pm.
