cereal bar
It’s surprising how many people are not aware that this food often contains a significant amount of sugar.
According to experts, popular brands usually include up to five different types of sugar in a single 30g bar.
This could be bad news for those trying to lose weight, especially if they are considering this food as an afternoon snack option.
Turkey breast
This food is loaded with different types of sodium, preservatives and chemical additives, without any trace of natural ingredients. Surprisingly, even the smoky flavor is artificial. Generally, its composition consists of a mixture of soy or cassava flour, maltodextrin and turkey meat.
Salt and water crackers
This food is made mainly from white wheat flour, vegetable fat (some brands use trans fats), malt, powdered milk and yeast.
With such a basic composition, it is considered an extremely simple carbohydrate and is not recommended for anyone looking to lose weight.
Yogurt
Almost all yogurt brands contain a variety of sugarsmodified starch to improve consistency and artificial fruit flavors.
To be considered a healthy option, a yogurt must contain only two or, at most, three ingredients.
