-

“I’m glad you came!” is the name of the new project to disseminate scientific knowledge by the Association of General and Family Medicine Interns of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (AIMLVT), a podcast for healthcare professionals, developed in partnership with Alfasigma, whose main objective is to create content designed to stimulate discussion between specialties and to allow a review of practical topics of interest to the family doctor’s day-to-day life.

Divided into three themes – Chronic Venous Disease (CVD), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Multimodal approach to pain -, each of which has two episodes, the podcast will be published fortnightly and will be available on the platform www.healthcarehits.pt, created with healthcare professionals and their daily (information) needs in mind.

According to the President of AIMLVT, Inês Ré Henriques, “the Podcast I’m glad you came! promises to be an important tool, in a relaxed and educational tone, with practical examples of common pathologies in everyday General and Family Medicine, capable of being heard anywhere!”
