The announcement of the expansion of the flu vaccine in Londrina starting this Saturday (4) led hundreds of families to attend the UBS (Basic Health Units) indicated for care.

They are: Armindo Guazzi Giovane Lunardelli, Parque Guanabara Dr. Ibrahim Soubhia and Dr. Carlos da Costa Branco, popularly called Alvorada.

Therefore, there are alternatives for the population in the east, south and west regions, respectively. The exclusive service for flu vaccination continues until 6 pm and, to carry out the immunization, there is no need for an appointment or a vaccination card.

Presenting a personal document is sufficient and generates a protocol of care and proof of vaccination.

Neighbors to the Alvorada station, sisters Odete Doniak and Tereza Doniak planned to be at the unit during the first hour of service.

“All vaccines are always up to date,” says Odete, a retired public servant. Arranged and dressed in colorful costumes, they consider vaccination to be a precaution that everyone must take for the benefit of the collective. “We got ready happily as if it were a trip and we are up to date with all our vaccinations”, they say.

Surrounded by the care of her family, Ignez Liberatti was also one of the first to enter the clinic for the annual immunization. Her daughter-in-law, Cristina Liberatti understands that expanding to more people is an assertive decision by health agents and this promotes greater safety for the entire population.

“We spare no effort and she has always been very disciplined. Born in Itápolis, in the state of São Paulo, Liberatti lives in Jardim Alvorada and makes a point of counting the years of her life.

“I’m 92 years old. There’s no secret, but I believe that good things like walking, food and the love of my family make me well and I feel like a really privileged person”, he celebrates.
