City Hall promotes vaccination against Dengue for children and adolescents aged 10 to 14

Immunization is available from this Tuesday (07/05), in all UBSs with a vaccination room

The City of Ibirité, through the Department of Health, begins this Tuesday (07/05), vaccination against Dengue for children and adolescents aged 10 to 14 years. Immunization consists of two doses, applied with an interval of three months between the first and second.

To receive the vaccine, simply go to one of the 20 Basic Health Units (UBSs) with a vaccination room in the city, accompanied by an adult guardian and present the documents:

• Identification card;
• CPF;
• Vaccine card

According to the Health Department, Nicole Cuque, it is extremely important that parents and guardians take their children to vaccination stations, as the vaccine becomes an essential tool in the fight against Dengue. Furthermore, the Secretariat states: “It is essential that we also maintain all preventive measures, including regular cleaning of yards and the continuous use of repellent, among other precautions.”
