The Loureira Funeral Agency, Headquartered in Vila Verde, it opened its fourth branch in the parish of Ferreiros, in Braga.
The new space is located at Rua Marceliano de Araújo, nº 48, next to Farmácia Oliveira, and aims to provide the best service conditions for families, bringing its services closer to the population.

António Manuel Silva, manager of Agência Funerária Loureira, explained that the company provides all types of services funerals in Portugal and abroad. “We carry out all the funeral services from the Church and cemetery, with everything being our responsibility. It’s a family business and we have two more branches in Vila Verde. We had been thinking about opening our first space for some time here in Braga and as we provide several services in Ferreiros, I decided to open this agency in the parish,” he said.
The manager said that the family’s goal is to further expand the business. “I hope that people have confidence in our services so that we can show our quality of work, since we have had our name on the market for many years. We have been in this activity for 25 years, but the funeral home has around 100. I have professional training in this area and we want to grow even more than we aspire to. The objective of being here today is to grow even further in the funeral sector. We invest more and more in our training, we want to grow in the concept and show the difference in the dignity of the ceremony”, he highlighted Antonio Manuel Silva.
Carolina Teixeira, president of the Union of Parishes of Ferreiros and Gondizalves, was present at the inauguration of the space, where she confirmed that it is the first funeral home to open in Ferreiros. “A funeral home is needed and, despite being a service that no one likes to look for, it is essential to exist in localities. The city of Braga has a lot to offer, but it is It is always good for localities to have nearby services, as it is an added value for the population”, maintained the mayor.
The president highlighted that when choosing Ferreiros to open this new space “is a sign that the Union of Parishes is attractive for companies to expand their business”.
The inauguration of the agency took place this Friday with the blessing of the space and was attended by Father Miguel Simões, by Gabriela Silva, secretary of the Union of Parishes of Ferreiros and Gondizalves, Raúl Gomes, treasurer, and Susana Gomes, member.
