Between the 18th and 24th, the Week of Partners of the Mines Route and Points of Mining and Geological Interest in Portugal will take place.
Aljustrel has prepared several activities, such as “Geologist for a day” (March 19th, 9:30 am), “Miners Tertúlia” (March 22nd, 9:00 pm) and “Mineiro for a day” (24th March, 9:30 am), and all interested parties can participate free of charge.
All of these activities begin at the Aljustrel Mining Park Reception and Interpretation Center (CRIPMA) and require prior registration, which can be done in person, at CRIPMA, or by contacting 284 009 131.
In addition to the Municipality of Aljustrel, through its Parque Mineiro team, the National Energy and Geology Laboratory (LNEG) and the Portuguese Academy of Industrial Training (APFI) also organize these initiatives.
This is a week dedicated to scientific dissemination associated with geology and mines and taking advantage of the development potential of territories associated with extractive activities and which takes place at a national level.
