As part of the celebrations of World Tree and Environment Day, Infralobo and Infraquinta, in joint collaboration with schools in the Almancil Group, promote a week dedicated to nature and the preservation of the environment. The initiative takes place between March 18th and 21st, with activities that promote ecological awareness among students.
In this sense, the two municipal companies will provide trees and plants for schools and kindergartens in the Almancil School Group. Furthermore, they undertake to prepare the land and assist in the planting of the species provided, highlighting the importance of biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
This week’s highlight will be March 21st, which marks World Tree Day and International Day of Forests. On this day, at 2:30 pm, the administrators of Infralobo, Carlos Manso, and Infraquinta, Pedro Pimpão, will symbolize the work carried out during the week by planting two trees, at Escola Dr. António de Sousa Agostinho, in Almancil.
