The Viseu District Command of the Public Security Police confirmed the arrest of nine people and the seizure of several weapons and ammunition, during an operation that took place in Viseu and Mangualde.
Police officers carried out 12 search warrants at residences, following a drug trafficking investigation, eventually arresting six men and three women, and three more were identified and made defendants in the process.
Three of the detainees saw the Viseu Court apply preventive detention to them, another was detained to finish serving an 18-month sentence that had been pending, three others were subject to periodic presentations to the authorities and two were left with an identity document. and residence.
The PSP confirmed the seizure of three weapons and several weapons and around two hundred pieces of ammunition of different calibers, as well as 187 grams of drugs and various material, including tools, televisions, game consoles, a surveillance camera, gold and 1,600 euros in cash.
