The Caminha City Council, in partnership with the Institute of Employment and Professional Training, will promote the training “Basic Notions of First Aid”, in order to provide the population with basic notions for providing first aid in the event of an emergency. Registration ends on March 27th and participation is free. The training is aimed at the population over 18 years of age and starts on April 2nd, after work hours.
This 25-hour training course has the following programmatic contents: identify the main signs and symptoms in situations of sudden illness and/or trauma; perform basic life support maneuvers; apply first aid appropriate to the emergency situation and apply psychological first aid techniques and the promotion of empathetic relationships
The sessions will take place at Escola Básica e Secundária de Caminha and begin on April 2nd at 6pm, lasting until April 30th, from 6pm to 9pm. The remaining sessions will take place on the 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd and 30th of April
