* The 9th edition of the Chocolate Market begins today, on the 3rd floor of Mercado dos Lavradores. In the space dedicated to Fairs and Events, the event will take place between today and Thursday, March 28, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the exception of the last day, when it closes at 1:00 pm.
* At 9:15 am, in the Funchal Municipal Assembly room, the opening session of the training action takes place on the theme “JURIDICAL REGIME OF URBANIZATION AND BUILDING – UPDATED”, resulting from the so-called SIMPLEX URBANÍSTICO. The action that will take place today and tomorrow will be taught by Dr. Maria José Castanheira das Neves.
* The Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development, in partnership with the Madeira Agricultural School, promotes a training course on “Organic Agriculture”. The training action will take place from today until Wednesday, March 27th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
* The regional secretary of Education, Science and Technology, Jorge Carvalho, will be present, at 3:00 pm, at the presentation of the Madeira Children’s Song Festival 2024, which will take place in the Salão Nobre of the Conservatory – Escola Profissional das Artes da Madeira, Eng.º Luiz Peter Clode.
* The presentation of the commemorative program for the 50th Anniversary of the 25th of April, organized by the Funchal City Council, will take place at 5pm. The program includes more than a dozen initiatives, from concerts, conferences, ballet, street arts, exhibitions, sports, among others. The initiatives will run until May. The presentation conference will take place at the Cultural and Research Center of Funchal, with the presence of the president of the CMF, Cristina Pedra.
* The Municipal Youth Council of Câmara de Lobos will meet, at 6:30 pm, at the Residência Artística do Ilhéu, in Câmara de Lobos, in an ordinary session in a less formal format, in a Sunset environment. This meeting’s primary objective is to provide young people in the municipality with a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging an environment conducive to sharing ideas, concerns and suggestions. During this meeting, members of the Municipal Youth Council will work on the preparation of Câmara de Lobos Youth Week 2024.
* The regional Secretary of Finance, Rogério Gouveia, presents at 11:30 am, in the Noble Hall of the Regional Government of Madeira, in a press conference, the analysis of the global debt, financial and non-financial, of regional public entities, including the Business Sector of the Region Autonomous Region of Madeira, from December 31, 2012 until December 31, 2023.
