The draw, carried out by the tournament’s ambassador, Victoria Sandell Svensson, divided the hosts Sweden and the seven qualified through round 2 of qualifying in two groups of four.

Sweden was automatically placed in position 1 in Group A, joined by champions France, along with England and Norway. Spain, champions of the Under-17 World Cup, four-time EURO winners and runners-up in the last two years, face former champions Poland, as well as Portugal and Belgium, in Group B.

The final phase takes place between the 5th and 18th of May. The games will be played at the Malmö Idrottsplats, in Malmö, and at the Klostergårdens Idrottsplats, in Lund, with Group A on the 5th, 8th and 11th of May and Group B on the 6th, 9th and 12th of May, with one game per day in both locations.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on 15 May, with the final taking place three days later in Malmö.

The finals will also serve as UEFA qualification for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, with three European teams securing a place in the Dominican Republic at the tournament taking place from 16 October to 3 November. The two defeated semi-finalists will compete in a play-off in Lund, on May 18, to decide who will join the two finalists at the World Cup.
