An automatic rifle and a 9mm pistol were used in all crimes. The first occurred on October 15 last year, when the two detainees approached a man, in Lisbon, on a public street, and shot him several times with a firearm, leaving him seriously injured.
“Four days later, in a neighborhood in the municipality of Amadora, they injured a man with gunshots. This same victim, on October 28, 2023, would be fatally shot, in the same residential neighborhood, following multiple gunshots of firearms, one of which is characterized as a war-caliber automatic rifle”, in this case, a G3, the PJ said this Tuesday in a statement.
According to that criminal police body, on January 11 of this year, the suspects shot another victim with a pistol, the circumstances taking place on a public road, in Oeiras.
Several house searches were also carried out in Portugal and Spain, in which two firearms, a vehicle, narcotic products, communications equipment and money were seized.
The person detained in Spain will be extradited to national territory. The man detained in Portugal will undergo his first judicial interrogation at the Amadora Court, with a view to the application of coercive measures.
