Almancil | Open Door Choices Program

O Mud@ki E9G is a project included in the Choices Program, integrated into the IPDJ (Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth). They are a project promoted by the Parish Council of Almancil and managed by the Doina Algarve Association, with partner entities being the Municipal Council of Loulé, the group of Schools of Almancil, the Association of Parents of Almancil, the University of Algarve, the CPCJ of Loulé , the Social and Cultural Association of Almancil, the Recreational and Cultural Association of Musicians and Re-food Almancil.

Mud@ki E9G aims to promote the social inclusion of children and young people, between 6 and 25 years old and their families, from vulnerable social contexts, residing in Almancil, through healthy occupation of free time, promoting a set of activities of non-formal education, training and knowledge acquisition, with a view to encouraging and promoting academic success and facilitating civic and community participation.

In the next April 4thbetween 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, the Mud@ki E9G project will participate in the Almancil Producers Marketpromoting a cooking show, preparing economical and healthy culinary recipes with a predominance of Algarve food products.

They aim to make local products known to our young people and promote dialogue between young people and producers.

They have been working with young people on healthy eating and the importance of the circular and local economy for the sustainability of the planet.

To liven up the Mercadinho, there will also be a dance performance.

Everyone is invited to be present!
