Sporting and Sporting de Braga proceeded today to the semi-finals of the Portuguese futsal Cup, in Sines, stage of the ‘queen’ competition of the Portuguese calendar for which the Lions of Porto Salvo and Caxinas also qualified.

The ‘lions’, runners-up in the Portuguese futsal league, beat Belenenses 8-0 and will face the Leões de Porto Salvo, who defeated Dinamo Sanjoanense 4-3.

The ‘arsenalistas’, who lead the main Portuguese futsal division with the same points as Sporting, beat Rio Ave 7-4 and will face Caxinas, who overtook Ferreira do Zêzere with a 4- 1.

In the last match of the first day of the ‘eight-a-side final’, which takes place at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Sines, Sporting was already leading Belenenses 3-0 at half-time, with goals from Alex Merlim (09 minutes), Zicky Té (13) and Taynan (18).

The undeniable ‘Leonine’ superiority continued in the second half with Taynan (22) scoring twice, before André Cruz (29), in his own goal), Pany Varela (31) and Hugo Neves (39, 40) completed the victory. rout.

In this way, the ‘lions’ of Alvalade will face, in the semi-finals, on Friday, the Lions of Porto Salvo, who beat Dinamo Sanjoanense 4-3, in an electrifying and markedly offensive encounter, typical between two teams without nothing to lose.

The first half yielded five goals, with Ruan Silvestre (02) taking the Porto Salvo team ahead, Rúben Góis (08) reestablishing the advantage, after Ricky Oliveira (07) equalized, and Mamadú Ture (20) guaranteeing the 3-2 at half-time, after Diogo Tavares (11) equalized the score again.

Wendell (25) increased the advantage for the Oeiras municipality as a whole and confirmed the ‘favoritism’ of the I Liga team, despite Sérgio Costa (30) once again reducing it to second place in the qualification phase of the II Liga champion .

Soon after, Sporting de Braga also qualified for the semi-finals, fulfilling their favoritism with a 7-4 victory against Rio Ave, leader of the II Futsal League.

The Minho team scored early and reached the break leading 3-1, with goals from Ítalo Rossetti (04), Tiago Brito (13) and Tiago Correia (17), although the Vila Condenses still equalized through Felipe Simas (12). ).

In a flash, Ygor Mota (23) and Robinho (24) distanced the ‘arsenalistas’ on the scoreboard and, after André Luzia (35) reduced for Rio Ave, Tiago Sousa (36) and Dudu (37) once again reassured the guided team by Joel Rocha, who still saw Careca (39) reduce, once again, to the final 7-4.

Thus, Sporting de Braga will face Caxinas in the semi-finals, who in the first meeting of the day beat Ferreira do Zêzere 4-1, in a match marked by balance, contrary to what the final result indicates.

Caxinas only scored at the end of the break, through Francisco Oliveira (20), but Ferreira do Zêzere equalized through Diogo Simões (26) and only at the end did Caxinas take the lead, through Tiago Fernandes (36), Rodrigo Simão (39 ) and again Francisco Oliveira (40).

On Friday, the semi-finals will be played, also at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Sines, with matches between Leões de Porto Salvo and Sporting, at 5:00 pm, and between Caxinas and Sporting de Braga, at 8:00 pm.

The winners will be in the final, on Saturday, scheduled for 5pm.
