Apple’s next “let Loose” event, which takes place on May 7, is expected to feature the latest generation of the iPad Pro. According to Mark Gurman, a journalist at the Bloomberg agency, the new series of tablets will skip a generation and move to the most advanced M4 processor.
Improved AI task performance
Also according to the well-known journalist, the highlight of the new M4 processor will be the Neural Engine, which is updated to improve the performance of tasks based on Artificial Intelligence.
Gurman says that Apple can promote and position the new tablet in the market as “its first device truly powered by Artificial Intelligence”. Unfortunately, further details about the processor are still secret from the gods.
Other expected specifications on the iPad Pro
Although Apple will maintain the same design as previous generations, the new iPad Pro series must now include OLED screens. Mark Gurman says that two screen sizes will be available, 11 and 12.9 inches.
The journalist from the Bloomberg agency is also saying that a new Apple Pencil will also be announced at this event, which will have, for the first time, tactile feedback. Apparently, the new pen will have a Taptic Engine that will emit a vibration whenever the user switches between drawing tools.
Gurman also says that a new keyboard with a larger trackpad and an aluminum frame may also be launched. In other words, a MacBook-like keyboard for a more premium feel.
For now, these are the news, but we will have to wait until May 7th to discover the new generation of the iPad Pro. Until then, see all the Apple tablet models available in Portugal, on the brand’s official national website.
