Mata do Fontelo, Parque Aquilino Ribeiro, Mata do Serrado, Mata da Quinta do Bosque and Quinta da Cruz are closed and will remain so “until technical verification by the municipality services”, highlights the municipality .

Warnings from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) due to the forecast of strong rain and wind in the region continue until at least 6pm this Thursday (28 March).
The bad weather is caused by the arrival of the Nelson depression, for which the IPMA predicted rain, thunderstorms and strong winds, as well as snow in Serra da Estrela.
On Wednesday (27th), more than 30 trees did not resist the intense wind in the region, the majority in the Viseu Dão Lafões area.
Rainfall is expected to continue over the Easter weekend, accompanied by a drop in the maximum temperature in Viseu in the coming days, according to IPMA forecasts.
