The Municipal Council of Oliveira do Hospital approved today, in a council meeting, the extension of opening hours for food and beverage establishments in the Municipality, during the Easter period.
As an exception, licensed establishments in the municipality now have extended closure authorization, in addition to the 30-minute grace period already in force.
This change in the closing time for food and beverage establishments in Oliveira do Hospital is applied on the night before the next public holiday and during the Easter festive season weekend.
The extension of opening hours therefore applies tonight, March 28th, the day before the March 29th holiday, with the closing of food and beverage establishments at 2:30 am.
On the night of Friday, March 29th, the spaces close at 2:30 am on Saturday, March 30th.
The extension of opening hours extends until the evening of March 30th, with these establishments closing at 3:30 am on Sunday, March 31st.
This decision by the Municipality of Oliveira do Hospital to extend the closing hours of licensed food and beverage establishments aims to stimulate what the municipality considers to be an important sector of the local economy, and which, at this time of year, sees a greater influx of visitors. .
On the other hand, with this measure, the City Council intends to contribute to greater dynamization of leisure and entertainment spaces for the people of Oliveira, as well as for the people who travel to Oliveira do Hospital during this festive season.
The Municipal Council of Oliveira do Hospital appeals to businesspeople in the sector and the community in general that visits these nighttime spaces to maintain respect and the right to tranquility and rest for all residents in the neighboring spaces.
