The Alentejo Science and Technology Park (PACT), based in Évora, will open tomorrow, Monday, at 5:30 pm, two new spaces, a Collaborative and Gaming Laboratory and the Future Room, in an investment of 130 thousand euros.

According to PACT, these two “immersive rooms” «are equipped for gaming, virtual reality and other technologies» to experiment and develop projects and applications, being available to companies in the park and to the Alentejo community and students.

One of the rooms is the Collaborative and Gaming Laboratory, with “advanced computers for experimenting or developing individual or collective ‘gaming’, artificial intelligence or other projects that require high-capacity graphics cards, in addition to immersive experiences using to virtual reality glasses”, a PACT source explained to Lusa.

The Future Room, “offers the possibility of an immersive experience of more than 180º, thanks to the almost complete covering of the space with high-resolution dynamic panels, with the capacity to project content in real time and streamline multimedia meetings”, among other possibilities .
