Game scheduled for Saturday for Euro-2025; part of the squad did gymnasium and light training on one of the Football City’s pitches; group is complete tonight

The women’s National Team began, this Monday, in the City of Football, the preparation work for Saturday’s reception, at 8.45 pm, against Bosnia and Herzegozina, qualifying for the 2025 European Championship, at the Municipal Stadium of Leiria .

Some of Francisco Neto’s squad, including Bia Meio-Metro (called to replace Telma Encarnação, who underwent surgery for appendicitis), underwent light training, which focused mainly on physical preparation and recovery.

The squad is complete tonight with the arrivals of Tatiana Pinto, Carole Costa, Jéssica Silva, Kika Nazareth, Ana Seiça, Catarina Amado, Andreia Faria, Andreia Norton, Ana Borges, Joana Martins and Ana Capeta, duly authorized to join the team later Portuguese entourage.

Portugal returns to training this Tuesday, starting at 6 pm, at Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras. At 12:45 pm, there will be a press conference with a player to be named.

After the clash with Bosnia, there will be a game in Malta, also qualifying for Euro-2025, on April 9th, at 5:30 pm.
