Agreement with Botafogo collapses and Artur Jorge stays at SC Braga

Sporting de Braga denied this Monday that there is any understanding with Botafogo, contradicting John Textor’s statements, which took Artur Jorge’s immediate departure to the Rio club for granted.

According to the newspaper “O Jogo”, the two parties reached an understanding last Friday but the Arsenal emblem argues that a clause was safeguarded that leaves the agreement pending a contractual termination between the Minho team and the 52-year-old coach.
