Today it is still free to travel on the “Centro Azul” and “Centro Verde” buses, on the second day of the entry into operation of these two new Aveirobus lines, operated by Transdev, since yesterday, through the city center.
There are 42 new bus stops with 34 schedules on weekdays and weekends, in an attempt to reduce the car load in the city center, free up parking spaces and respond to urban travel needs.
Starting tomorrow, these trips will cost two euros if the ticket is purchased on board. This cost will be reduced if the passenger buys ten trips for seven euros or uses a monthly pass that costs between 15 and 20 euros, which can also be used on other lines, in addition to “Green” and “Blue”.
Yesterday and today’s trips are free «so that the population can test the service», according to Transdev.

“Blue” from
from 6.50 am
The “Blue” line starts operating at 6.50 am, departing from the Bus Terminal, close to the train station, entering the city center via Barrocas, arriving at the Beira Mar neighborhood, close to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Febres, and arriving at Av. Dr. Lourenço Peixinho, Rua Clube dos Galitos, Gulbenkian, avenues Araújo e Silva and 25 de Abril, passing through Cais da Fonte, towards Forca, returning to the starting point. The “Green” line also leaves at the Aveiro Bus Terminal, at 7.10 am (at 7.30 am on weekends and holidays) and runs in the opposite direction, starting at Forca-Vouga.
