DGArtes will support 14 artistic projects in Alentejo worth 350 thousand euros

The Directorate-General for the Arts will support a total of 72 projects within the scope of the Programming Project Support Competition.

72 applications will be supported, with a global financial amount of 1,850,000 euros, distributed across the various regions of the country: North (16 applications, with a budget of €430,000), Center (17 applications, with €435,000), Lisbon Metropolitan Area (12 applications, with €260,000), Alentejo (14 applications, with €350,000)Algarve (7 applications, with €195,000), RA Açores (4 applications, with €110,000) and RA Madeira (2 applications, with €70,000).

The process is now in the hearing phase of interested parties.

Support will be awarded to 41 applications in the disciplinary crossover area, 17 in the theater area, 9 in the dance area, 3 in the circus area and 2 in the street arts area.

The main objective of this support is to stimulate the cultural offer, through financing cycles, exhibitions, festivals, among other programming activities developed mainly in the national territory.
