Escudeiros, in Braga, is the next destination of the “Descentrar” cultural program with a day full of activities for all ages dedicated to the 25th of April and freedom. Visual arts, theater and a concert dedicated to the songs of April fill the program next Saturday.
From 11:00, at Multiusos de Escudeiros, the Plastic Arts workshop “Carnations” will take place, by CEA – Artistic Education Cooperative (with Mi Martins). In this workshop, young participants analyze their perspective of the revolution and reinforce collective memory through the symbolism of the carnation. How do I see April 25th? It is the motto for creating a composition of monotypes, with cutting, gluing and using various techniques and materials. At the end, they take their illustration home to share with their families and friends. Targeting children and young people, the initiative has a limit of 15 participants. Those interested in participating can register through EventBrite.
The cultural day continues with the theater play “Laughter at Entardecer”, by Nómada Centro Artísticos, at 4:00 pm. Descentrar ends its stay in Escudeiros with the concert “Cantar Abril – Canções com História”, by Canto D’Aqui, at 9:30 pm, also at Multiusos.
