The Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT) and the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo are studying the possibility of establishing partnerships.
Members of the entity that represents travel agencies will be able to promote tourist products characteristic of both regions.
At the meeting now held, the two entities announced that “products such as Cycling, Caminhos de Santiago, Wine Tourism and Rural Tourism were mentioned as focuses of interest for this potential partnership, aiming not only to promote these tourist experiences, but also to enhance their commercialization of more effective way.”
In a note sent to newsrooms, the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo and the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies highlight the ongoing “commitment” to “promoting sustainable and quality tourism”.
