The Youth of Braga will promote a set of activities called “25 April, 25 Hours, 25 Moments”, as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Revolution.
The celebrations begin on the night of April 24th, at 9:00 pm, next to Arco da Porta Nova and extend along the city’s main arteries with cultural events and moments of reflection on the importance of Freedom and Democracy.
On April 25th, the city will wake up to an “explosion of civic and cultural energy”.
“The program will be an opportunity to remember and value the ideals of April, thus inspiring new generations”, says the municipality, in a statement.
The celebrations end with a serenade, part of the program of the XXXIII FITU Bracara Avgvsta, in Praça do Município.
