Braga City Council is recruiting IT support technicians to support the European Elections, to be held on June 9th in Portugal.

In the 2024 European Elections, dematerialized electoral registers will be used for the first time, which will be available on exclusive access computer equipment.

In this context, the municipality is recruiting IT support technicians to support the use of IT equipment by members of polling stations during the elections.

The IT support service (3 days) will be provided on a voluntary basis with compensation, for a total value of 177.45 euros (€59.15/day), requiring full participation in the defined tasks.

All people over 18 years of age, with a 12th year or higher education degree in the areas of technological training in IT, information and communications systems, can apply.

This process also aims to encourage civic participation and active and transparent involvement in the democratic process, as well as developing a set of fundamental skills in terms of teamwork, problem solving and effective communication.
