Concert at Marquês de Pombal station – April 25th – 2pm
The Lisbon Metropolitano will mark, on Thursday, April 25th, the 50th anniversary of April 25th, the harpsichord revolution, with a concert at Marquês de Pombal station (on the Yellow line), at 2 pm.
Through one of the symbols of the Freedom revolution, music, the moment will be marked by the presence of the band “POVO”, formed by artists Sofia Lisboa and Rui Galveias. The band will present a repertoire that includes both original creations and interpretations of historic songs from the Carnation Revolution.
The concert will engage patrons with the music that marked a significant era of change in Portugal. To honor this historic day, carnations will also be distributed to all customers.
The history of Metropolitano de Lisboa, over the 76 years of its establishment, is marked by the constant concern with creating proximity to the Customer, where cultural and artistic actions assume a particularly important role.
