Reinterpret iconic works of art from the History of Art with elements associated with the 25th of April. This was the challenge launched to a group of students from Escola Secundária Dra. Laura Ayres (Quarteira) and from which an exhibition was held until May 31st at this school establishment.

The classes involved were: 10ºA, 10ºB, 11ºA, 11ºB and 12ºA, as well as students from all-inclusive (8th and 9th year).

Students in the 10th, 11th and 12th years, in the subjects of Drawing A and History of Culture and Arts, reinterpret iconic works of art from the History of Art with elements associated with the 25th of April.

«These works were later placed on postcards with phrases referring to April 25th in the subjects of Citizenship & Development, and Multimedia Workshop B and will be distributed throughout the educational community. They are also on display in the atrium of the Parish Council of Quarteira», according to the organization of the exhibition.

The remaining works on display refer to graphic explorations, installations and drawings whose themes involve freedom, symbols, censorship and the ideals associated with the 25th of April.
