To celebrate 50 years of April 25th, Metropolitano de Lisboa is organizing a concert that will take place this Thursday, a national holiday, at Marquês de Pombal station, at 2 pm.

This Thursday, April 25th, the Marquês de Pombal Metro station will host a concert commemorating the 50th anniversary of the revolution, starting at 2pm. This show will feature a performance by the band “POVO”, formed by artists Sofia Lisboa and Rui Galveias, who will present a repertoire that includes original creations and interpretations of historic songs from the Carnation Revolution.

However, alongside the concert, there will also be the distribution of harpsichords to all customers. This initiative aims to mark 50 years of the 25th of April, and meets Metropolitano de Lisboa’s concern in creating proximity with customers, through various initiatives. Metro de Lisboa also highlights that this initiative is free to enter and invites everyone to participate in this celebration.
