On April 23, the GNR arrested a woman and a man, aged 38 and 40, respectively, for drug trafficking, in the municipalities of Loulé and Olhão. Thousands of doses of heroin and cocaine were seized.
It was as a result of an investigation, which had been going on for about a month, that military personnel from the Loulé Territorial Detachment discovered that the individuals were involved in drug trafficking, being “organized in order to distribute the narcotic product for sale to consumers, in the municipalities of Loulé and Olhão”, reveals the GNR.
Last Tuesday, the Guard carried out, through its policing, investigation and intervention capabilities and with the collaboration of the PSP, an operation, executing an arrest warrant and three home search warrants and one vehicle search warrant.
The police action resulted in the seizure of the following material: 5,128 doses of heroin; 1,006 doses of cocaine; four cell phones; a vehicle; a precision scale; and various materials used for adulteration and packaging of narcotic products.
