Braga inaugurated the redevelopment of Largo de São Roque, in the parish of Merelim São Paio, and according to the municipality, the work, costing 320 thousand euros, represents “a significant milestone in improving the quality of life and strengthening the ties of the local community” .

Ricardo Rio, mayor of Braga, praises the “central space of the parish”, as “not only the stage for countless festivities and other events, but also a daily meeting point for residents”.

“This is a very important project for this parish and the day of its inauguration was a very happy choice. It is a day on which we celebrate some dimensions of our life in society, namely the intervention of local authorities which, through investments in services and public spaces, makes it possible to value each of the territories, guaranteeing a better quality of life for the populations”, he said.
