In an initiative by the Move Beiras association, with partnerships from several entities in the region, the Tortosendo, Covilhã, Belmonte, Benespera and Guarda stations will have music as some trains pass on April 25th.

“Singing to Freedom” is the name of the initiative that aims to “promote culture in the Beiras territories and give voice and life to the populations”, reveals the organization.

In this context, at Tortosendo, when the regional train passes to Covilhã, scheduled for 10:50, Bruno Santos will perform.

In Belmonte, at the intersection of the regional to Covilhã and the Intercidades to Guarda, at 12:20, the guitar class from the Escola de Música do Centro de Cultura Pedro Álvares Cabral performs together with professor Edgar Petejo.

The local population will be at Benespera at the intercity crossing, at 2:15 pm.

The group “A Mensagem” – NDS Guarda” performs in Guarda, at 5:40 pm, between the regional departure to Covilhã and the intercity departure to Lisbon.

The initiative ends in Covilhã, at 6:45 pm, with a performance by a group of musicians from Banda da Covilhã, as the intercidades passes to Lisbon.
