The Coimbra IPO received 1,600 euros donated by the Management Student Center of the Academic Association of Coimbra, an amount achieved with the “NEG RUN” initiative, which saw the participation of 300 registrants.

Margarida Ornelas, president of the Board of Directors of the IPO of Coimbra, and the president of the Management Student Center, Moisés Reis, were present at a symbolic ceremony to hand over the amount raised, accompanied by other representative members of the two entities.

During the ceremony, Margarida Ornelas expressed her recognition to the Management Student Center for organizing the event, highlighting the dedication and solidarity involved in its success. She also highlighted the importance of the Coimbra IPO’s mission in raising awareness about cancer prevention, emphasizing that a high percentage of cancer cases can be avoided with healthy lifestyle habits, so promoting these initiatives is very beneficial.

Moisés Reis, president of the AAC Management Student Center, thanked them for the words of support and reiterated their commitment to contributing to a noble cause. He highlighted that the event not only strengthened ties with the academic community, but also allowed significant fundraising for the Coimbra IPO.

This successful action reinforces the commitment of the Management Student Center and students to contribute to relevant social causes, demonstrating solidarity and social responsibility.
