With the arrival of good weather, the majority of events aimed at two-wheel lovers are now also returning. This time, the group of Juncalenses Os Pintas is preparing to organize the 2nd Vintage Motorcycle and Motorbike Tour and the profits raised already have a destination: the construction of a playground for the children of the Juncal Parish Assistance Center (CPAJ), which will be co-organizer and responsible, above all, for food logistics.

On May 19th, the event secretariat, next to the CPAJ, opens at 9 am, when the gathering of bikers begins and a convivial breakfast will be prepared. An hour later the participants’ helmets are blessed and at 9:30 am motorcycles and motorbikes, from the oldest to the newest, set off on a route that will pass through Cruz da Légua, Tremoceira, Corredoura, Porto de Mós, Alqueidão da Serra, Reguengo do Fetal, Torre, Reixida, Fontes, Alcanadas, Batalha, Jardoeira, Casal do Relvas, Calvaria de Baixo, Calvaria de Cima, Quinta de São Paio, Chão Pardo and, again, Juncal.

After a demanding route, the bikers head to the A Azenha restaurant in Juncal, where there will be lunch (with starters, stone soup, Alentejo-style pork, desserts and drinks) followed by a presentation of prizes and souvenirs. In this field, emphasis is placed on the mentions of the largest group, the oldest participant and the participant “from further away”.

Registration will be open in two phases, the first until May 5th (22 euros for pilots and 18 for companions) and the second immediately after, but with slightly increased costs (25 euros per pilot and 20 for companions).
