On April 24th, the General Election Assembly took place at the headquarters of the In Loco Association to elect the Governing Bodies for the three-year period 2024-2027.
The elected members represent, in some way, a continuity. The Assembly and the Supervisory Board remain, as do three members of the previous board, which has been renewed with the inclusion of two new members.
The Board is now chaired by Sandra Rosário, a member of the Board since 2005. Manager, she joined the Association’s staff in 1996, being born in Martinlongo, Alcoutim.
These Bodies took office on April 25th, when 50 years of Freedom were celebrated.
Considering this coincidence as an extremely symbolic moment, this Department relies on dedication, a spirit of dedication and respect for the work of the Past, in order to contribute to a Future of consensual action, shared among all and, above all, of collective commitment.
It intends to maintain the current areas of work, seeking to intervene again in areas that were already part of its history, as long as they are necessary in the territory and involving the people who inhabit it.
Partnerships will continue to be part of the intervention strategy, animation a requirement in the way of acting.
In Loco pursues its mission: to promote locally based development with a view to improving the quality of life in its multiple dimensions.
