Viticulture and Sustainability in debate at Cartaxo

The Municipal Auditorium of Quinta das Pratas, in Cartaxo, will host on May 8th, Wednesday, the Viticulture and Sustainability Seminar, which has as its central objective, to reflect and inform about the challenges facing the adequate protection and use of soil in the vineyard ecosystem.

Climatological forecasts and the relevance of soil in the context of climate change are the focus of the seminar, aimed at producers, technicians, students and all those whose professional activity is carried out around sustainable production methods in the terroir. The Seminar will also feature the presentation of success stories in the area of ​​viticulture.

The debate will include topics such as “climatological forecasts and the relevance of soil in the context of climate change”, followed by case studies and good practices.

The Seminar is co-organized by the Cartaxo City Council and Agrosustentável, which has the support of the Tejo Regional Wine Commission (CVR Tejo).
